Green Acres Homes

Green Acres has been absolutely wonderful to work with. They listened to what we wanted and helped us come up with a plan to help our growing family. We spent many hours coming up with our floor plan and details in our home that we absolutely love! Monte was very patient as we changed our minds on multiple occasions and helped us through the process. We were lucky enough to have our home displayed at the Clay County Fair and had a wonderful experience with that as well. We highly recommend getting your home through Green Acres.

In response to Green Acres' reply: Yes, several trips were made to our home, but that does not mean that we are happy with how things have been left. The last time someone was here to work on the Sheetrock, he literally told us there was nothing he could do to fix the cracks on the seams. Not sure how else that could be interpreted. He did a few things, smeared some mud on the crack behind our stove and left. The crack was back by the end of the day. We have given up on many things that needed to be repaired because it just hasn't been worth the hassle to eventually get someone here and not even be happy with the results. Pros - cheap Cons - rude office lady, workers get to violate rules, owner doesn't care, and they don't understand Iowa law of needing a verbal or written agreement in order to legally leave a negative review on a background check and will do it even if you're not on the title of the trailer.

I purchased my manufactured home from Green Acres 1 year ago. I can’t praise the owner, Monte & staff enough for all the help they gave me through out the entire process! Picking everything out can be overwhelming. Our parents had purchased a manufactured home through Green Acres in 1995 & lived out their lives in Okoboji Village, Milford IA. My sister & I moved into our new home in Okoboji Village North on Aug. 2/2023. We are Extremely happy with our forever home. As with any new home there were a few little things that needed addressed. Everything was handled very quickly. I highly recommend Green Acres Homes.

As promised, I deleted my last one star review. While they have come back and “fixed“ all of our concerns, the repairs were not done to a very high standard. They were very good at the beginning of our sales relationship, but poor communication and missed deadlines were a common theme. Overall, we are happy with our house, and have no major structural issues. We would research to find a different company in the future. Attached is a before and after picture of them “resolving the issues”.
