Great Southern Homes

This was tough for me. I really wanted to write a positive review, but GSH cut too many corners. There have been some really nice employees but overall, the houses aren’t built great. The trims aren’t lined up in some rooms like the bathroom. GSH used the cheapest flat paint for all the walls and therefore scuff or show every fingerprint and cannot be cleaned. My walls are bowing (sheet rock and baseboards) Since I am beyond the 12 month warranty they will not fix it. Nail pops everywhere (they would only come out one time before warranty ended and basically just paint and putty over them. Already had my stove replaced and HVAC has been repaired a few times. The 2 car garage cannot fit 2 cars. The driveway is just wide enough for 2 cars but the garage walls are a good 8 inches in front

We bought pur first home with GSH. Was a great experience, customer service went above and beyond to our expectations. Thanks Jessy from the Cassique community for been so helpfulness and supportive to everything we wanted im the house. Looking forward to the building progress!!

Zero stars is to many for this horrible builder. They built my house on land that was not suitable to build on and they refuse to fix the real problem. They tried to appease me by doing cheap little fixes that did nothing to solve my problem. So now I have to live in a house that has wayer constantly coming out of the foundation. Just had a foundation specialist come in and it’s going to cost me a lot of money and that’s not even fixing the corner of my house that is now half an inch off from the rest of the house. Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy a house built by Great Southern Homes

We purchased our brand new Great Southern Home in December 2022. Approximately 6 months after moving into our home we had a piece of siding that had fallen off. They did fix that and quite quickly. Now, we have been living in this BRAND NEW HOME for a year and a half and that same siding has fallen off again. They refuse to fix it because they say it is out of warranty and siding is only a “cosmetic” issue. I find it very disheartening that someone can purchase a $350,000+ home and be told that siding falling off, not once, but twice, is purely cosmetic and not their problem. If they put the siding on correctly initially and the first time they “fixed” it, we wouldn’t be having this problem. Buyer beware.

If you want to feel alone with your new home purchase then choose this builder. Terrible craftsman ship from the flooring installation, drywall seams and nail pops everywhere! They will not fix any of it like other builders after you sign. Buyer beware your on your own. They act like your friend untill you sign the contract. Ive gotten three roofing nails in my tires in the last month and i asked if they would reimburse me and the warranty person just ignores my question stay away! Also expect trash in your yard and no one to clean it up great people here! Also when you check your home turn off the lights the bright lights make it so you overlook their awful work because they use the cheapest matt paint they could purchase. If you cant tell by this point im absolutely disgusted with this h
