In my nearly three years at Grandview Apartments, the maintenance team has consistently been a positive part of my experience. Over the past few days, Tyrone and Josh addressed both an electrical and a plumbing issue in my apartment. Tyrone quickly resolved the electrical problem, replaced the bulbs, and clearly explained what he was doing along the way. Earlier, Josh came by to assess the issue and even showed me his certification card for Universal Electrical, which I appreciated. On his follow-up visit, he replaced the faucet in the master bathroom. Both men were professional, efficient, polite, and genuinely appreciative of me as a resident. I moved into Grandview in December of 2016 and called the apartments my home for almost 9 years. It was amazing in the beginning 5 years, however, my monthly rent amount kept increasing by the month. I was set up on autopay my entire time there, and began getting eviction notices because the cap I put on auto draft wasn't enough to cover the extra fees that continued to be added on. There would be listed multiple trash fees, pest control fees ( even though I've never received pest control ), water rebill fees. My base rent for the last year was $1498, but every month id end up paying close to $1720. That wouldn't have been a problem if I had been notified of this. Trash pick up was supposed to be an extra $25/monthly and there's no way I used close to $200 monthly for water. I always had f
Jan-26: Had another maintenance request, and the maintenance team did another great job. He even left me a message about the repair. Nice work! My dish washer and dryer had issues. These issues were resolved quickly (within a few days). I was able to meet one of the maintenance employees, and he was great. Very nice fellow.
We moved in almost a year ago when it was under different management and it was amazing! Since there is new management it has been awful!! The pool has been closed, they should be embarrassed by the lack of communication and they treat you like you don’t know what you’re talking about when trying to come to them with and issue. They are very unkind, quite frankly they don’t know how to do their job. Cannot wait to move out! ALSO I put in a maintenance request and emailed for them to come and fix my clogged drain in the kitchen about a month ago, they never did come fix it. We had to fix it ourselves, which is fine but it’s their job to do that stuff. This is the dumpster, they are fining people for dumping their trash in the DUMPSTER!!! But they can’t be bothered to take care of it. Where
My wife and I have been waiting over 4 months for a new washer and dryer. This apartment complex will only offer apologies but no real compensation for its renter. They will make you uphold your end of a deal (leasing contract) while breaking theirs (replacing appliances is in the contract) and wanting understanding and compassions from you, the renter. (But you can't get the same compassion when it comes to paying rent and not paying for 4 months). This is a one-sided relationship, they have no compromising skills and lack customer stratification. If I could give 0 starts I would. Pick a better apartment complex! They do not care to make things right from the regional manger (Caleb), and property manager (Tammy). The other women Ebony and Atira have been the only helpful crew out of this
