Grandview Apartments

This has been one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. Management is completely unresponsive, and the building is in terrible condition. The front door is constantly left unlocked, which has led to homeless individuals entering the building and even knocking on tenants’ doors in the middle of the night. Cleaning is done maybe once every couple of weeks, so the common areas are consistently dirty and unpleasant. The laundry situation is another nightmare — there’s only one washer and dryer per floor, and they break down often. Even when they’re working, the dryer doesn’t fully dry clothes in one cycle, forcing you to pay for two. I like the apartment a lot but it’s been a total nightmare living here. 1. It’s now managed by H10LLC and they don’t even have a website which is a huge red flag. Whenever I call I never can get my question/concern answered because they have to forward my message to someone else. It’s like why even have someone on the phone if they can’t help tenants? 2. They want to increase my rent over $100 a month if I renew because I have more windows which is wild. The apartment isn’t even that luxurious to be charging that much. No in unit washer/dryer or a dishwasher? Half the time the washers don’t even work or are being taken given they have 3 machines for this whole complex. 3. Cousin rents a property from them. It's not bad but nothing you'd want to live in long term.

3.4 rating - are you kidding? I'm being asked to clean things that were NEVER cleaned before I moved in - including carpet that was warped and full of paint BEFORE I moved in. It will cost $300 to clean carpets that they intend to rip out anyway. If you're a professional single person like myself - go somewhere else. Kids playing in the laundry rooms and running around all hours...not to mention other "activities" that go on there. Run far away from this place!
