Grand Ole Oaks

Grand Ole Oaks Apartments is a Awesome place to live. We lived there almost 7 years in 2 different apartments. Both were excellent, would still be there if we hadn't just gotten a new grandson that we wanted to be able to see more, along with the rest of our family. We were always blessed with great managers. The current manager, Ashley, is WONDERFUL! Friendly, as helpful as a person could hope for. Anytime and anything we needed was taken care of quickly and correctly the first time. Tommy, the maintenance man, was so helpful! Came to fix anything we needed within a few hours, if not right away. Plenty of friendly neighbors, a great clubhouse for gatherings, lovely pool, two bark parks. All in all, a great place to live! Would move back again in the future.

Love living at Grand Ole Oaks! Ashley has been nothing but great during the living process! Maintenance is top tier as well.

The apartments could use some updating. We have had a few disturbances at 4:30 in the morning and at 11:30 at night. On Monday of last week I stayed home from work sick. I heard the doorbell but thought it was the TV. However, (thank goodness) my dog barked or the maintenance man would have come in on me undressed. I was in the process of getting dressed by the time I got to the door he was fixing to open it with his key. I watched him go into the apartment beside me right after (no one was home) so they do come into your apartment unannounced. I was extremely upset and called Ashley. She was kind at first but raised her voice and told me they had the right to come in as they pleased. I was very upset and told them to not enter my apartment again without notice and it was not an emergen

I lived there for a month before moving out. The rent was $950/month for a 2 bedroom, and although the apartment was decent, the property itself was rundown. The walking trail was covered in dog feces, and was overgrown with branches with barely any light. The volleyball area was covered in trash and rundown as well. The whole place was under constant surveillance, along with undercover security living in each building that reported back to the owner anything and everything they felt was wrong. The manager would have tenants sign a form that stated a forced 3-day dismissal would occur after only 1 complaint! This is clearly illegal because tenants have 30 days to fix the problem before any other action can be taken, unless it has to do with unpaid rent. Don't live here! The place is over-

I applied for a apartment here in November 2020, and as my rental history is excellent the leasing representative Ashley requested that I pay a full month of rent in advance along with other fees. As I responded and questioned this unusual practice, I no longer heard from her again.
