Seems if its an easy fix theyll fix it if you can get past a certain office worker. If a serious problem they do nothing while more damage happens because of it. They come and check then leave and not return, no updates on what they plan to do about it, nothing. They walk out and leave it as is when its a major issue. Its not safe and leads to bigger problems. When you call to ask whats going on youre told theyll get an update and let you know, but they never do. The office also never returns phone calls when you leave them messages on voicemail, even tho it says they will. Maybe HUD doesnt know and should. There are better places.
Living here is like living with an addict. Lots of promises with no changes. Blatant disrespect from the assistant manager. She's rude, uninterested in concerns, and has no accountability for her abuse of position. Rules of the complex do not apply to her children or partner. The entrance to the complex looks great but drive through and you'll find the back of the complex is neglected. LOTS of empty units, all of which have grass and weeds as high as 5 feet. The wait list depends on who you know. Maintenance is slow and at a bare minimum. Nothing is done about complaints towards tenants that are trashing the grounds or letting their children run out of control. Lastly the pest control is absolutely useless. If you move in have a good plan if your own to control the neverending issues of co
If you complain literally about anything or anybody, nothing is ever done about it. Not sure its not just ignored. Also asking to get a work order done one particular office worker acts like youre delusional and is rude as hell. I often wonder if maintenance gets the order past the office because you get treated like youre a total joke. That plus dealing with constant neighbors who could care less about anyone else is tiring and i will be moving as soon as im able. I havent slept thru the night since ive been here from the noise.
So ive lived at Grand Oak for three years. And let me just say, don't move here unless youre looking to be constantly inconvenienced. In the time that i lived here we: -had cockroaches from the moment we moved in. It was a rough battle constantly reminding the apartment to add us to the swat pest rotation. -stuff breaks and they take months to fix it. My stairs railing broke last year, i called them and notified them in person several times. and just now right before we are moving out, they fix It. -water heater broke within a month or so of living there, molded my floor and tore up the laminate, maintenence said they would fix my floor, NEVER did. -absolutely crazy neighbors. Bullying from children, and other resident adults. Neighbors that think you owe them your time and money. -n
Was a great place to live before the current property manager got there. I lived there for almost 20 years in the same apartment. When it was purchased by current owners, they made some much needed & decent improvements. Woke up to see a maintenance man standing in my bedroom door, was drunk & didn't know what he was supposed to do. Another maintenance man had to come show him. They need more yard lamps at night due to teens tearing up your cars & painting pentagrams on sides of building & on fences. Federal Section 8 inspectors no longer come in and inspect yearly. Instead, the property managers do their own inspections & give reviews to the Fed. Sec 8 Office to insure they are still Fed. Section 8 eligible. New windows leak a lot of cold air but it's apparently not considered an importan
