Grand Oak Apartments

I have lived here for almost 2 years. Very nice until around July 2021. Now we don't have lawn service, the grass and leaves are about 6 inches high. They don't do any upkeep at all. Not good at all.

After covid hit they closed down the pool for some reason. Even though pool maintenance is explicitly listed as a portion of the HOA fees, the fees didn't go down. Instead, they went up! The pool issue was very minor compared to what they did to me for being one month late on a payment. Because I was one month late and owed for two months, the debt was sent to the HOA's attorneys who charge $500 for collection. That's on top of the $50 late fees the HOA is already collecting. So, instead of owing $560 for two months, I ended up owing over $1,000! IF YOU CAN AVOID DEALING WITH GRAND OAKS OR REAL MANAGE HOA PLEASE DO SO AT ALL COSTS BECAUSE THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF

It’s ok it doesn’t have a washer n dryer unit inside the apartment. It’s located in another building. That was the deal breaker for me. Too many stairs also

dont go there they are changing the apartments from subsidized senior apartments, fixing up everything inside and out because they dont want the seniors here anymore, they are raising the rents which these people cant afford so they are being forced out with no where to go.

In laws lived here...nice up keep to the grounds. Friendly neighbors also..
