I recently had the pleasure of living at Governors Gates Apartments, and I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful apartments that are both stylish and well-maintained. A special shout-out goes to my leasing professional, Mrs. Sandra. Her dedication to providing a safe and affordable living environment truly sets this community apart. She was always available to address any questions or concerns, making the leasing process smooth and enjoyable. Maintenance has been top-notch; I’ve had absolutely no issues during my stay. Sandra and Brittany at the office are wonderful. They are professional and personable and really make you feel welcome. I just moved in and I absolutely love my apartment! I'm in a gated "community" so I feel safe. The apartments are well kept and the amenities are definitely a perk!

Do not come live here! I have lived here now for 12 months, my lease is for 14 months. They require a 60 day notice to vacate and as soon as you give notice, they will be harassing you over scheduling a time for a pre move out inspection. I do not even move out until 04/11 and they’ve been hounding me non stop about doing an inspection next week - two months before I even have to move out! I tried to explain that I work from home & couldn’t take that type of disruption and will be taking time off closer to my move out date for the move, so that’s when the pre move out inspection would work best for me. They’re going to have the nerve to call me and leave a voicemail saying they’re coming tomorrow, regardless! I work from home and it’s a full disruption to my work day to have it done. I the

Yesterday I had to move to another state, but during my almost 2 years living in governors gate, I can only tell good things about it. The staff is really helpful, maintenance helps quickly, the amenities are really pretty, never felt unsafe, great location, amazing view, trees everywhere, food trucks (certain occasions), good neighbors. One of the main reasons I loved Pensacola that much is because of this place!

I’ve only been living here for less than two months, so I know it’s still early to fully judge a place—but something happened today that made me want to write this review. This afternoon, I heard what sounded like a waterfall coming from my bedroom window. When I looked, it wasn’t water—it was buzzing. Hundreds of insects (they looked like slightly longer flies; I’m not sure what they’re called) were somehow getting into my bedroom even though the window was closed. I’m absolutely terrified of insects—especially flying ones—and I live alone, so I started having a full-on panic attack.
