We have had a great experience working with Patrick and his team. They respond promptly to any property issues, help find good tenants and know the area well!

SF property management companies are generally awful, so the 4 stars is a relative rating. Nothing amazing, but for SF standards, gordon clifford is definitely on the better end. Major maintenance items will get fixed in a reasonable amount of time, but smaller ones will likely never get fixed or be done poorly. Their properties are in generally decent condition, but as with most property management companies, they choose the cheapest contractors and it shows. They do follow all rental laws and I got my full deposit back, so overall, I'd recommend renting from them.

Let me give you an example of how much Patrick and his team suck. My brother has reported a creepy neighbor for covering the surveillance in the building and there was ZERO response from management. Not only do they not care about my brother but all of their residents. I suggest you stay as far away as you can from this company.

★☆☆☆☆ This management company is completely unprofessional and operates in bad faith. If you’re considering renting from this company, beware. Expect poor communication, questionable management tactics, and a disregard for tenant rights. If you’re already a tenant and experience similar issues, document everything and be prepared to fight for what you’re legally owed.

Patrick Clifford, President and Broker is one of the more unprofessional and lazy brokers I have dealt with as a rental tenant searching for a new apartment. I had a meeting to view an apartment, that he had listed, that he just completely didnt show up to without giving me any notice that he wasn't going to make it until I had already waited 30 minutes and had to leave. This isnt that terrible of an interaction, it's not uncommon, but he followed that up by not bothering to reschedule at all and was unresponsive for about 5 hours. I just felt it was unprofessional and lazy and I was shocked to learn he owns and runs the realty group. This behaivor is fitting of an intern not a president and seasoned professional.
