Golden Spike Apartments

The new manager Silvia is extremely rude. She is aggressive and condescending. She doesn’t listen and argues when she is clearly wrong. Perhaps she needs to learn a little kindness & customer service from the new assistant manager, who is kind and has top notch listening skills.

Okay I've been here for a couple years and have observed all aspects of the way things are ran here. First of all, most of the less mobile people are on the higher up floors, which is not protocol for any assisted based housing building because of the level of mobility and elevators do go out VERY OFTEN! They've attempted to clean it up in regards to the illegal happenings, but how they go about it is disgusting. They run this place with intimidation as well as harassing and bullying these innocent elderly and/or mental health clients, which is out of hand! They have security from time to time now (off duty Denver police officers) which is a good thing, except one thing, they too bully and harass the tenants here as well as intimidate to gain control. This place failed their Hud inspection, they have some new employees that are extremely rude. Maintenance man knocks like he's the police, then tried to get nosey with questions and trying to look around the apartment. Claims to be there for repairs that weren't even ordered. The Demver police officers who do their security either choose to not remember or just doesn't paybattention to who lives there. They constantly ask people " do you live here " knowing they do. They rarely leave their vehicles when they are supposed to patrol the area and building . They have bedbugs in just about every unIt there. Except maybe 5 apartments . There are male residents that get drunk and get in the faces of the elderly women. They try and pick fights with visitors that have nothing to do with anything t

Someone who I know that helps ppl get into housing , wanted me to do a application for golden spike apartments. After reading the reviews I'll not move there and it's too far from my storage . I don't want my disabled son there and he wouldn't like it or APS for adults with disabilities and seniors. We're not going to move at the golden spike apartments.

Has is inconvenient stuff old building. Needs to be renew, cabinets n have all apartments with laminate flooring, no carpets. Is not the best but is not hell. I'm satisfied with what I got, been disabled n low income
