Golden Lakes Apartments

You asked so I will share. I’ve been living in Golden Lakes Apartments for a long time. From Nice to Nasty!!! From the broken down cars, to the NASTY stairs, to the garbage, to the some of the NASTY tenants, the NASTY property from the pets, the stray cats and dogs, the unconcerned STAFF, the wishful completion of work orders, the leaky pipes, the roaches, the Drugs, and there’s much more. My brand new car was broken into and I was told that they protect the property not the tenants. It can be turned around however upper management has to be concerned not only about the money but the upkeep of the property. I’m very observant of other properties that are under this management company and I’ve expressed that maybe it’s because the community is predominantly black they really don’t care! It

Poor management and maintenance. The receptionist gives incorrect information, the property manager is unreachable, mold is an issue, things are broken all the time, and trash is everywhere. I would not recommend this property.

Yesenia is truly the heart of Golden Lakes Apartments. As the property manager, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and residents feel heard and taken care of. She’s professional, attentive, and always on top of any concerns or maintenance requests. If only she had staff that was as competent. It’s clear she takes pride in the community and works hard to create a positive living environment for everyone. Her leadership, communication, and kindness really set the tone for the whole property. Golden Lakes is lucky to have her!

I’ve been staying here for a year now and it is absolutely terrible, the people in the front don’t care about nothing, they never the phones, they never respond back to emails, my air been broke for almost three weeks now, and no one still have yet to come out and fix the air, I’ve been complaining about the mold and the leaking ceiling in the closet for the longest and still nothing, every time you ask for a manager or who ever is over them they never won’t to give up any information, but they always walking around putting letters on doors about inspections, this is ridiculous, something has to be done.
