Glenwood State Bank

Teller gave me the wrong funds when I wanted to close my account which then caused my account to go negative. Because I no longer live in Glenwood and no longer bank with Glenwood State Bank, I didn’t realize until a month later that the teller had over-drafted my account. If you’re concerned about the safety of your accounts I wouldn’t recommend banking here because the teller didn’t ask for an ID or any identification questions when I was closing my account. I could have been anyone. Even when I called to talk to someone about my account they only asked for my first and last name.

I moved from Glenwood 6 years ago but have kept my account with Glenwood State Bank due to outstanding customer service and a true sense of community. I can trust that GSB will look out for me as a customer and is always there to answer any questions I may have.

Glenwood State Bank is our home town bank. We thoroughly love it and will continue supporting it in any way possible. They handle our personal accounts and those of my parents. Great service and friendly!

The tellers and staff are so kind, patient, and respectful. Often I come in with complicated deposits to multiple accounts, and even when my toddler grandbaby is with ne, they are attentive to all of my banking needs. Grandbaby loves to come to the bank here, too.
