Glen Hollow Apartments

I currently live here and am extremely disappointed with how this issue has been handled. I put in a maintenance request about four weeks ago regarding my shower wall. I was initially told they were waiting on another maintenance employee to return, and I understand that circumstances happen. However, he has since returned, and the issue still has not been addressed. My shower wall has been in this condition for weeks — with tiles missing and exposed, water-damaged wood behind the wall. This is not a minor cosmetic issue. It is a serious maintenance concern and has the potential to become a health hazard due to ongoing moisture, possible mold growth, and structural damage. Lacey, the property manager is probably the sweetest person ever and she is always able to help you with whatever you need. Anytime my apartment had something that needed fixing the maintenance guys were always on top of it. It could be the smallest most microscopic problem but they were always ready. Plus they aren’t bad to look at so it’s a win win.

We have lived here for about 4/5 months and we have been beyond pleased! Very nice and clean apartments with updates. We had a couple minor issues in the beginning, Manager, Stephenie Jeffries was easy to get ahold of and got on top it! Maintenance responded within 30 minutes and solved all problems. I have 3 children so the pool, playground, and picnic area are awesome amenities. Community newsletters are regularly sent out to keep everyone informed! The laundry room on sight is always clean. Quiet apartments, especially at night. 10/10 recommend!!

They placed us in a unit that was not livable. There was no lock on an outside door anyone could walk in, water pipes were broken/leaking under sink. They were unable to place us in a unit that was livable and ADA accommodating so they are trying to keep over $2,000 for their mistakes!

This place used to be nice. Used to be. First, no maintenance at all. It takes weeks to fix issues like, clogged sewer lines. You can have water backing up into the laundry room and flooding you apartment when you are not even using your washer or taking a shower. I come home everyday to water all over the floor and evidently they dont care. This is literally happening as i type this and put a request in a week ago. Buy They charge premium prices for a place built in 1972. Management is never on property. Phone to office does not work. But it's Kilgore, and you don't have a lot of choices.
