Ghent Village Apartments

We are about to start our fourth year at Ghent Village, and we have been very pleased with the responsiveness of the maintenance team when we have an issue. Tyree Gray and Roy Hill are prompt to address any problem, and they are extremely friendly as they go about their work. They have gotten to know our dogs as well, and Boomer and Weezie are excited to see them when they come over! Additionally, the office staff (Stephanie Waldon and Melissa Bain) are phenomenal as well. They both are very attentive and follow up on all questions that we have had. It’s a pleasure to see them walking around the property. They too are very friendly and efficient. Ghent Village is truly a family and a wonderful place to call home! Mary and Rich Peccie

Since the time we moved in, we have been subjected to multiple violations of our rights as tenants. These are the violations under the Ghent Village contract: #21 Unlawful use and disturbances, noises etc., #22 Breach of Lease: B. where our complaints have been continuously violated breaking the 21 day rule C. repeat violations with no remedy We have continuously made complaints to the main office, previous property management and numerous phone calls to Silbar Security about our health and safety concerns. Not only have we been dealing with marijuana and cigarette smoke coming through our vents every night, we have been subjected to loud parties, blaring music past 1am, people yelling on balconies, slamming doors, trash left at our front door, passive aggressive harassment including par

As a current resident I enjoy living in Ghent village. The landscaping is pleasing for leisure and relaxation. Maintenance team to the rescue yet again! The property managers office provides after hours on call to assist in emergency situations. Roy & Tyree are always on point Thanks Ghent Village 👍👍😃

If you expect a good and quiet place to live, here is a great option. Brittney and her team are doing great job and are responsive. Remember, you cannot choose your neighbor and there might be some noises if you don’t live in 3rd floor (I live in 1st floor though), but believe me, Ghent Village is a great place to live because you have access to most services in the community with walking distance. Also, new manager, Brittney, is very supportive person. So, highly recommended 😊

I lived in Ghent Village Apartments for two years while in the Norfolk area. It was a fantastic experience, and would do it again! The apartments are large, the grounds are immaculate, and the pool, clubhouse, and fitness facilities are great. Dedicated parking is a huge plus as well. Most importantly, the on site management team is outstanding! They are friendly, accessible and immediately responsive to any concerns or needs. They truly go above and beyond to make living in this community a positive experience.
