Had a great experience working with Miles Hawley at the Starlight Homes community in Forney. He was extremely professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. Every time I needed information or had a question, Miles was quick to respond and always helpful. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend working with him if you’re considering a home with Starlight Homes.

A one star review is as low as Google will allow me to go… This builder has completely changed our community. They took over our HOA, changed the bylaws, and started building cheaper starter homes which investors are buying renting them out. As a result, crime is on the rise and house values are down. These are quickly, cheaply made homes.

We had an amazing experience with Matt at Gateway Parks Starlight Homes! He was professional, patient, kind, informative and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and if it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have met Donnie and Andrea. We just want to thank the whole team that’s been with us through our journey. After almost a year of living in a Starlight home, I can confidently say I do not regret purchasing this property because Gateway Parks meets our family's needs. I wasn't surprised by Starlight’s builder quality, as we conducted thorough research and prioritized the community alongside the home’s quality. However, I am frustrated that despite our hard work to secure this house, the professionalism and commitment we expected during the buying process have not been reflected in how warranty claims are handled. As clients, we deserve at least a representative to address our warranty concerns, yet that has not been always the case. Wondering why you're able to afford such a home at such a price? What you’re not spending in mortgage, you will likely spend in repairs and upkeep very quickly. Starlight Homes in Gateway have gone up in record time (as quickly as two months) and the appearance of the homes indicate such. Drive through the rest of the community and you’ll see a stark contrast in the existing homes built in, what was supposed to be, a premier neighborhood in Forney. Starlight and Ashton Woods homes are aesthetically unappealing and exhibit minimal effort in every aspect. I would be leery of any Starlight or Ashton Woods product and recommend doing extensive research before purchasing.
