Gates of West Bay Apartments

Outstanding customer service from both the front office and the maintenance team. Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful, from the move-in process to handling maintenance requests and emergencies with real urgency and care. The pool is also a great amenity and perfect during the summer season. Highly recommend this apartment complex!

Very awesome stay at Gate of West bay. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Miss Heather and Cara. Helped me a lot during Check out process. Also it’s the most worth of cost in the entire Norfolk Base area. Must be 5 stars.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES MOVE HERE!!!! I lived here for a year and it had been nothing but trouble from day one. They have rats, roaches, flies, snakes, bad plumbing and terrible office staff!! They take weeks to begin the process of completing maintenance requests and, more often than not, they leave them completely unfinished for months! All of the buildings are supposed to have washers and dryers in the hallways. They don't. They don't have fire extinguishers in the hallways either which is crazy considering fires are WHY THEY DONT HAVE THE WASHERS AND DRYERS! There's a snake issue on the back of the property. Someone killed a snake on their porch and left it there for HOURS! I CARRIED that large dead snake to the trash myself because people don't walk their dogs on leashes. Speak

The apartments look great! Heather and Temple in the office are so kind and go out of their way to help you. Rickey Terrance and Helen do a great job of making sure your service request are done quickly and efficiently. The grounds and landscaping are clean and beautiful. The team is doing an amazing job to make a difference.

As always the maintenance team goes above and beyond. Even with being short handed job is well done and no need for them to return for another fix. Grateful to be well taken care of
