Gardens of Mt. Airy Apartments

DO NOT lease an apartment here unless you're only planning to stay for a year. They offer amenities up front but will not hesitate to alter the deal in their favor once you're settled in. I was sold an apartment with gas included in the lease - which made it an enticing deal. I paid through 2025 with no issue. Upon renewal in 2026, rent was raised AND gas was excluded from the lease - amounting to a steep raise in monthly cost for tenants. I've been informed that Lindy will not offer any relief to tenants who have been negatively impacted by this sudden price hike. Don't lease from Lindy here or anywhere else!

DON’T RENT HERE OR ANY LINDY PROPERTY . I lived here for 4 years and every year without fail the rent was raised and the quality of the building declined . Electrical issues during heat waves , water shut offs for the building constantly , mice problem but to add insult to injury when I finally decided not to renew my lease , they stole my entire security deposit and lied about damages . I sued in May , won my judgement and still have to go through the sheriffs office to collect my judgement , it’s been 90 days and now I have to reissue a Writ of execution . Lindy is horrible , I would never live in one of there properties again after this experience.

I don't like to leave reviews but I can't skip this. I just moved into one of their one bedroom one bathroom apartments and the only thing that I can say is "Bravo". All the team members were great with me, shout-out to Lisa who took every step with me until I was finished, she helped me to get through any issues I had with my application until the end. My apartment is 10/10 equal to the customer service that I received, the building is clean, calm and secured. I will definitely recommend it to people who are looking to rent to your service.

Do not move here! The customer service is absolutely horrible! My clothes have been damaged by the washing machine and there has been no compensation or accountability by the Lindy Staff. The maintenance person threatened to Tow my car and I am a resident at this building! There is no assigned parking and visitors are able to park in the parking lot where I pay my rent.. I went without gas and couldn’t cook for a full weekend and no one responded to my maintenance request! Now I’m being charged 100 dollars because I need maintenance to open the door. No one talks to you about anything and no one has called to resolve any of my concerns. This place is a slum building it’s horrible. Update.. this was a continued nightmare. They did not honor my lease… forced me to leave and are now suing

Two weird experiences with this property two different years in a row. When you try to sign up for a tour with this property, an automated system schedules it and contacts you. At first, it seems very easygoing and sensible. Both times I was given the address to a different apartment (not the Gardens location I scheduled for). When I called both times I was told they don't do tours when I scheduled. So, why would I be given the option to arrive at a time that doesn't exist. If I had not called the "other" apartment complex for clarity, I would've been beyond lost and confused. My point: The entire system and communication behind this place seems flawed and unprofessional. I cannot speak about the quality of the apartments themselves; however if this is now my first and second impression
