Garden Terrace apartments

I’ve been waiting to post my thoughts on here since I moved in. I’ve been living here for 2 months now and I think I’m ready to leave my review. So first off it was a bit frustrating at first when applying here but if I’m honest I think it was because it was my first time trying to apply for an apartment. I saw a review that said about having to give 4 paystubs when filling out the application. Yes you do have to submit 4 paystubs on the. Application since it’s equivalent I guess to a month. Then once your application is approved you have to once again send your paystubs but this time to the leasing agent. Thankfully it was easier thanks to the amazing leasing agent, Ordelis ( not sure if I spelled it right). She made it all easier for us and was very patient explaining a lot of informatio

Been staying here a for a few months I’ve watched the maintenance guy who supposed to pick up the trash every morning stop and talk with the guy in the front of building 3 but never picks up the trash and to top it off the tenant in 3F is so freaking dirty she leaves piles of trash in front of her apartment where the cats and rodents have it scattered everywhere and no matter how many times you report it nothing gets done about this is utterly ridiculous to have to clean up someone else’s trash that has been scattered over into my area. Then let’s not talk about all the notices that is never done in the time frame or on a timely manner. And we won’t touch the repairs cause you can forget about it my whole floor is discolored from an inside leak that’s been taking months to get the parts wh

I've been living here for 6 months. From day one the assistance manager Jacqueline Binns, as been extremely rude. I'm so shocked that a person in customer service have such a bad attitude. So many things were broken when I moved in it was like they didn't even try to fix it. My a/c was broken for the first 2 months I lived here. A new neighbor moved in and her a/c was broken as well. Hers was fixed the next day. The hot water barely comes out. I had to bathe in cold water. I informed the assistant manager of this and she told me it was turned up to the highest level and there was nothing else they could do. I just recently visited the office to talk about the termites infection. I was told by Jacqueline rudely that it was termite season. If you pay with a money order the office charges

The assistant manager Jacqueline Binns is very rude and disrespectful. We tried to let her know that someone in the office or their screening company messed up on the application process she didn’t want to hear it. She tried to offer us 2 other companies to get stuff off of a background check that was for the wrong person. Why do they have 3 companies screening for background checks? One of the companies said they provide them with the information but they the company has nothing to do with the decision making. Ms. Binns stated that it was the screening company decision and 3rd party decisions cannot be overturned.
