When I first moved in last August, I was told that there would be a receptionist at the front desk from 9-5 throughout the week. However, not even a month into moving in, employees would show up sporadically throughout the week, seemingly with no schedule. When asked for a schedule, I was told that one would be sent out within the week but no schedule came. I have been charged late rent due to an employee error, maintenance and management people are non-existent, and phone calls are never answered. I have emailed and tried calling the manager of the apartment multiple times with no avail. While the apartment is new and clean, it has been extremely frustrating not having anyone to answer or respond to simple questions. My recent maintenance request was handled poorly. The building is well designed for a re-purposed office building, but the management is non-existent. The property manager does not respond to e-mails, and we have never seen him at the reference desk or in the office downstairs. We've been told for weeks that the keys are supposed to be changed over, but no one is ever around to complete that change. Now my husband is locked out of the gym. Generally, the building is clean and modern, but don't expect any additional amenities or services like a concierge or commercial washer/dryers. Also, be advised that the street is not zoned for residential parking permits so you cannot get a street parking permit from DC DMV.

We have been trying to contact SOMEONE at this establishment regarding renting an apartment for the upcoming acadmic year. So far, no luck. I would LOVE to have a phone number that we could call to ask questions about possible rentals. One did not work and another was in NC and not related. Anyway, I am going to give the place the benefit of the doubt, but PLEASE, if you have a good phone number, PUT it on THIS WEBSITE.
