Fox River Estates

This apartment is under new management who decided not to renew my lease for “bad payment history” the second I had my late fees paid that had stacked up and I had been paying off. I had lived here for four years!!! This happened this last August, so my son (going into 1st grade) also had to switch schools suddenly, and almost wasn’t able to go to the same district at all. The prior management was sweet and personable with all the residents. This new company does not.

I live in a duplex at Fox River Estates and love it. My home is easy to to keep clean because it is well organized and spacious. Danie Heimback, manager, goes above and beyond the call of duty in helping me resolve any problems I have. As a senior citizen living alone she has always been most gracious and kind. She helps me feel safe, secure and protected. With her knowledge of community resources she has been the proverbial "lifesaver" for me. I appreciate so much the opportunity to live here.

At first I loved this place. But as time went on I really got to really know the staff and the apartment I live in. The apartments are nice and new. But they have some issues. My floors leak the glue they used to put the hardwood floor down. They barely have any storage in the bathrooms. Every time I call up here no one ever answers. When I email anyone it takes forever to get a reply back. The office hours aren't even true. They are never here during the times on the door. I feel that they pick and choose who they feel like they want to live here not by the requirements. I was also lead on to believe that I was going to be able to move to a duplex for over a year. Then to be told we make too much.

I have lived at Fox River for almost a year and I am blown away. I can not ask for better neighbors. My kids have many kids to play. Also Danie is absolutely outstanding. If I have ever have a question or concern, she is so eager to help. The access to the clubhouses, the park, and the basketball court also is a bonus when you have three kids. Thank you Fox River for being a blessing to this single momma!!!!

I just recently moved in to the Phase II of the Fox River Estates and I absolutely love it! Great location in Willard. Neighbors are very friendly. School district is awesome. Overall great place to live
