Founders Ridge

Full disclosure. I'm Terry Kennedy's wife. I am responding to the review by the pest control company. This is an awesome community and the reason is that we care about each other and watch out for each other. My husband being a board member was made aware of a gentleman knocking on doors about a pest company. Some of the homeowners were "creeped" out by it. Terry then approached them and also sent out an email to homeowners to alert them. Wouldn't it be wonderful if more people cared about others. Living her is awesome. The home are beautiful.

If I could leave zero stars it would be done, not a welcoming community by any means, especially if your not white. Me and partner were treating a customers property tied by contract when the HOA president rolled up threatening me and my co worker. He told me and my partner we don't belong in those parts, he told me it was way outta of my tax bracket because of the way I look very very ignorant, called me out of my name saying I was spic. Would never consider this place if your not white.

We knew that we were looking to downsize so we visited different towns, previously owned and new builds. We kept coming back to Founders Ridge and so glad we did. A new build would afford us the ability to customize our home to our liking and in our budget. We chose on the side of the road overlooking the mountain and the sunrises have not disappointed. Phyllis was very helpful in this process and Ted, the builder, was very accommodating in our requests. The houses are not cookie cutter since there are many options to choose from along personal choices. The neighbors have been very welcoming but not intrusive. Best decision we could have made.

Last January my wife and I got serious about the idea of downsizing. I no longer enjoyed cutting grass, raking leaves and blowing snow as well as for the extra maintenance an older home required. We found the home we were looking at founders Ridge just a mile from our old home. . We were very impressed with the layout of the model home as well as the high quality off workmanship. We have lived here for over a year now are are very happy with our new home, the great neighbors and the excellent upkeep of the property. We found Ameritage to be very accommodating and easy to work with during the building process and I also believe that Ameritage, being a local contractor, was a plus in our decision to choose this home. No regrets.

I’ve never experienced any kind of racism ever In my life yet I come here and got singled out just because of the way I look very inappropriate and disgusting Terry Kennedy the H.O.A called me out of my name in the worst way ever and proceeded to insult me and call me a Spic I would’ve gave a 0 star rate if possible please don’t bring you’re loved ones around these kind of people
