Fort West Apartments

AKA Tamira Tijerina. I have read over some of the Reviews for Fort West Apartments and I'll be honest, a lot of the complaints are actually caused by the RESIDENTS & not of the PROPERTY, nor MANAGEMENT!!!!!! TENANT'S need to start RESPECTING & COMPLYING with ALL GUIDELINES also respecting where they live and STOP breaking the GATE everytime maintenance fixes it!!!!!! Again I say, " It's the TENANTS that's constantly causing the same REOCCURRING issues or definitely SOMEONE THEY KNOW!!!!!". There's no EXCUSE for any of it! Also, I have always received proper & timely notifications of what is required as a tenant then being responsible enough to comply! Meaning, (In order not to have my vehicle towed!)etc..., Lol! I have had raw sewage off and on in my bathtub since Oct 19th it's now January. My downstairs neighbor had a leak from my bathroom and mold in the first two weeks of moving in. The apartment behind me whose shit is in my bathroom also has raw sewage in his bathroom and when he moved in there was no water. Another lady was having issues with her washing machine and no water. Whoever did the plumbing when they remodeled did not do a good job. They are crazy cheap. That's how the prices are so low. One of my neighbors didn't have access to a mailbox for months. The dumpster is filled with trash in two days because they only have 1 dumpster for the whole complex and they pick it up maybe weekly. Code compliance is out here every other day. I am writing to express my disappointment with the maintenance and office services at my apartment complex. Some on-site staff appear unconcerned with tenant needs, despite residing on the property, which I find disconcerting. They often allow issues to persist. As a disabled individual, I am concerned about their lack of responsiveness to my needs and safety concerns, particularly when I submit complaints. They consistently neglect to return my calls or resolve issues. Currently, I must navigate the apartments alone, as my husband is away, and my father is not always available. My youngest son is apprehensive about visiting due to the loud behavior and neglect of trash by the upstairs neighbors, which may be related to their family friend's employment with the apartment staff. Registered car with apartment management but still got towed this happened on9/3/25 don’t give this place your money not worth it unless you wanna pay $350 to have your car released occasionally

If I could give it a zero, I would. Like others, our car was towed which cost $350 to get it back bc of a needing to register it online unbeknownst to us - most likely an inside connection, money maker. The property management is non existant, you can never reach anyone when needed. Extremely unconcerned when treated unfairly, the gate never works, you're at your own risk in the area, no manager or security on site. Our apartment waa flooded week 1 bc the neighbor above us, no fault of his. When he turned on his new washer, it was connected to nothing & flooded my apartment, inside the walls & everywhere on the floors. It was a nightmare, no one ever came, no one has ever checked for mold. Horrible place to live, don't move here!! I could go on & on....moving out soon
