I had an excellent experience applying and become a resident at Fort Strong Properties. Every staff member I talked to was very friendly, very helpful and easy to talk to. Specifically, Claudia was the one mainly handling my application and she was very responsive, and did a great job of helping me get things organized with my application. She kept me updated well and went above and beyond with making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She took me on a nice tour of the apartment and let me take as much time as I wanted to look around and make sure everything was in order. The apartment itself is in great condition, very clean, everything works well, the location is great and the area is ideal. Unacceptable Living Conditions – Hoping for Management to Respond I have been living in this apartment since August, and the experience has been unacceptable. Several significant issues make this property unlivable: 1. Roach Infestation: Massive roaches are a daily occurrence, making the apartment incredibly uncomfortable and unsanitary. 2. Ventilation Problems: None of the ventilation fans work. I believe this poor ventilation has contributed to more significant issues, including the bathroom ceiling collapsing. 3. Water Damage: The collapsing ceiling appears to be caused by a leak from the unit above, compounded by the lack of proper ventilation. Fantastic experience with Fort Strong Properties! The Sr. Property Manager, Mauricio, was incredible throughout the entire application process. He expedited everything and even arranged multiple tours of beautifully renovated apartments. Mauricio went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly, handling every detail with care. Initially moved to this community for the price. Since moving in, rent has increased over $400 within 2 years. All utilities included was initially promised, which then with no notice they decided not to include. They had their residents pay utilities to the leasing office directly, then forced residents to put utilities into their own name. Where it was discovered they did not actually pay the utility company or clear any balances leaving us with over $500 worth of charges we had paid to management directly. Sometimes issues like these do arise, however, management is impossible to contact to resolve anything. I have been in this property for a little over a month now and I love it. Great location and th property staff always makes sure it's clean. Claudia at the leasing office has been a tremendous help with getting me situated into moving in and has also been attentive with helping out any issues I may face. I am glad the staff is reliable.
