I tried to get a property on Westwood and provided all my information an he told me the property was available an ready to be leased once I gave him my deposit he then tells me. We do not have possession of the property an it’s not a priority to get into the property we can send your deposit back to your last address. (The address he knows I had to be out of an can’t receive mail at) before he hangs up on me. I reached out for days he is just now getting back too me saying that the money order was returned an he sent it too some other address. I asked could he tell me what other address An he says that would take days like all the time I’m wasting on the phone with you about getting your money order back. Only gave one star because zero wasn't an option. Do not, DO NOT, rent from this company. They were the worst management company I have ever encountered. On top of the long list of things they did not fix while we lived there, we had to threaten legal action to get the AC fixed in the middle of summer with a baby in the house. We have since moved out and just received a bill from them saying we owe THEM money. My husband and I not only spent two weeks scrubbing that place from ceiling to floor, we paid to have the carpets professionally cleaned when we moved out. We have been charged $600 for cleaning. I am in the ARMY. I had to go to Korea for a year. My wife and son stayed in Killeen TX. They stayed in a Folkerson Property Management home. We took photos of the place and the condition on move in and move out. When I returned from Korea I was ordered to upstate NY. We set a date and time for the move out inspection. No one from Folkerson showed up. We called there answering service that told us that they were at a funeral. All of them. We called several times, for hours. We had no other choice but to leave. I had a deadline to be at my next post. We tried to contact them for months after that. Then we received a bill. They claimed that we left the home trashed. If I could put a 0 I would. DONT RENT FROM THEM! worst company I have ever rented from. They sent me threatening letters for outrageous fees. They just want money. Recently moved out and I never received my security deposit like I was promised when we did the walk through. They don't make you sign anything at check out so they can add charges and later bill you. I stayed day and night cleaning that old house and still received a letter stating I owed 1,950, like anyone has that laying around. They are crooks just wanting your money. Stay away.

We move in to our rental in 2 weeks, so I can't rate what it's like while living Under their management. However, my emails were always returned promptly, application was processed and approved within a day and the lease was received two days later via priority mail. So far we are very happy with the process, although a little concerned with all of the negative reviews I've seen. Hopefully the rest of our experience with Folkerson goes as smoothly as the beginning has. We are very happy so far. Most companies have a very strict clean out list so that they don't get screwed with a trashed house. We are hiring professional cleaners and carpet cleaners for our current rental and providing all receipts to the management company. Hopefully that eliminates any potential issues with move out.
