Flatiron View Apartments

My wife and I lived at Flatiron View Apartments for just over a year, and it was hands down the worst rental experience we’ve ever had. We left the apartment in good condition, yet they kept our entire deposit and charged us for a *brand new carpet* due to “pet odor” and “traffic stains.” I have a service dog and have never had issues with odors or damage in any of my previous rentals. Looking back, I genuinely believe what they called “pet odor” may have actually been mold—because mold was one of the biggest problems we dealt with while living here. We had recurring mold in multiple areas of our bathroom and under the built-in AC unit. Management sent an inspector who spent only a few minutes quickly spraying one spot under the bathroom sink and wiping it down. They ignored the other mol

We lived here for several years and I would go back and do it again in a heart beat! The reason I'm even writing this review is because I was talking to family about what an amazing experience it was here genuinely, and I remembered I should write a review! Maintenance is so great they'll fix whatever you need on time, rent is affordable, and we enjoyed the location a lot. If I ever come back to Boulder I'd love to be here again!

Easy! We are professional working couple 12 years out of school. Flatiron View has been a fantastic place to live and work from home while we save money for a house. Other tenants are mostly quiet, maybe a few elephants running around sometimes but I can't tell if children or college students. Whenever we put in a maintenance request, the crew are super fast and friendly to fix it. There were some smokers that would hang out too close to the building but management seems to have worked that out for the most part. Love the mail-package lockers for package security. They just added car chargers to the back of the parking lot which could be cool. Recommend.

This place went downhill so fast. No tenant screening - you will end up next to someone smoking cigarettes and blasting music and they won't do anything. I used to paint on my balcony - we don't need that! Now everything is covered in smoke clouds. Jobless folks flooding the units - you will see some of them digging through trash and some panhandling at the intersection of table mesa/foothills. Convenient location indeed! Raised our rents by $200 so we moved but now they can't rent a unit at even cheaper than that. Still no security deposit in my mail. Can't recommend.

Flatiron View Apartments has been a wonderful place to live. When I was searching for an apartment two years ago I looked at a number of apartments around Boulder, which were either ridiculously expensive, filthy, or small. I found Flatiron View through Housing Helpers and was instantly impressed. The apartment was clean and in great condition, very reasonably priced for the Boulder area, has great pool areas, and a good community. Most of all, the apartment management company was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and goes out of their way to build community. The on-site maintenance crew is always prepared to address any issues. I highly recommend Flatiron View Apartments.
