There was a closing that took place on a Friday with a wire needing to go out to supply the seller with their funds from settlement. This wire was never sent on that Friday, and at almost 1pm the following Monday, the funds have still not arrived. The unprofessionalism from First United Land Transfer as well as the amount of liability the title company has passed along to realtors and other title companies is truly astounding. Nearly 10 years in real estate and I haven't had an experience anywhere close to this. Utterly frustrating and disappointing.
