My experience with First Heritage was nothing but more than amazing! Even though we had some bumps along the journey (not FHM fault). I would choose them everytime and recommend anyone to use them. We definitely agree with the negative reviews for this company as to regards of the "preferred" lender for Stanley Martin. Feels like we were led on by the loan officer (and if his excuse is that we should have known or read the contract better, let me tell you what we told him). 1) We are first time home buyers and know nothing about the process (we totally opened ourselves to this one!) 2) We we already led on by other companies pretending they had our best interest in mind. (again, we opened ourselves up) 3) Flat out we asked specific questions about the loan terms and he completely omited or lied about the loan terms (if he did not know, he should say that and that he would get back to us). 4) Totally forgot who we were and what he was looking at ie: "it depends on the interest rate"..
