Very poor communication and execution. Over 2 months with little action on a simple retitling action. Previous action with another title company went very smoothly, no comparison. Had to use FNF due to jurisdiction issues. I do not recommend.

Fidelity represented me in a law suit due to a title insurance claim. Long story short, I was offered a sum of money from Fidelity to settle the claim. I settled. For well over a year my Fidelity supplied legal representative Alexandra Hill was unresponsive to phone calls, emails from not only myself but, my attorney as well regarding non-payment of agreed upon offer. Only responding when my attorney sent a threatening letter. Then once again making empty promises and then going unresponsive again. I have yet to see any of the money I was promised in writing. Avoid them at all costs. The level of unprofessionalism is truly terrifying. All this from my legal counsel provided by Fidelity for a claim against my title.

It is very bad experience, my house closed on 10/28, but till now they have not sent deed request to county yet. And when I called Nancy Cohen, my closing agent,.she told me that she didn't know what's going on and not sure where is the deed request. The worst experience I have ever had with a title company. Also the buyer title insurance is not started yet after almost one month since I was told that they need wait for the recorded deed. Not sure why nobody is following up the closing process at all till I checked. Updates: increase to 3 stars since they fixed the issue after reported.

Avoid doing business with these people if you can! I have a title insurance claim open for 4+ months without any determination or resolution. Furthermore, I have been trying to reach the supervisor for the Omaha claim center (Todd Moody) with no response. I will be consulting my legal resources to determine my next steps to further escalate this matter... Every day is lost time and money.
