Fairway Apartments

I lived here for 4 years from 2021 to 2025 in both one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The complex is located in a nice area just outside of Reston Town Center and next to a large golf course. There is plenty of free parking for residents and guests all around the complex. The buildings are older but well maintained. Unfortunately the walls are a bit thin, I could hear my upstairs neighbor walking around and could sometimes hear loud conversations from my downstairs neighbor. The stairwells are echoey and you can hear if somebody is having a conversation out there. Some units don't have a washer/dryer but all the buildings have washer/dryers on the first floor that you will probably just have to share with one other apartment. The wood floors in m

The building is old and falling apart, you can hear every noise from other units, day and night. Tenants completely ignore quiet hours, and you’ll constantly hear people making loud noises late at night and early in the morning even themselves or their dog. The appliances are extremely outdated , they look like they’re from the 1960s! For paying around $2,300 a month, you’d expect peace, comfort, and better community, but you get none of that here. To make things worse, the strong smell of marijuana constantly seeps into your unit from neighbors . The leasing office is totally irresponsible and does nothing when you report these problems. Do yourself a favor — don’t fall into this trap and stay far away from this community!

There is no quality and quiet hours in this community that can provide your right expetation when you rent an apartment. The rent you pay is not aligned with what you can get here. Just some examples : some renters take their dogs out early in the mornings between 6am to 7am everyday and makes noises on stairs and when you complain to office about them Nothing happens! Flooring is so thin that you can hear almost any noises from your upper neighbors while their dogs or themselves runnung in their units.Appliances are so old too!

Great community to living I’m 300% Sa happy to live in here and be part of this beautiful complex I LOVE IT !!! I will retired living here that beautiful is peaceful clean this lady’s from the office Miss Lady and miss Dixie are on the TOP of any detail and they really concern and connect to everyone in this beautiful place thank yo lady’s for what you both do to keep this Fairway Apartments clean n peaceful I do really Appreciate. This has been a lovely first apartment for us. The office staff (Lady in particular) are some of the most helpful folks and they truly care about Fairway. It is clear efforts are being made to renovate and get the neighborhood out of the 70s and into the 20s. With the recent addition of a dog park in Fairway 2, we are very excited to see changes made for all residents; two legged or four. The rent cafe makes paying rent easy, the service staff are helpful on even the simplest of problems, and the office staff are receptive to feedback. Lots of promise here! Can't wait to see the changes they make this year.
