Fairlane at Aksarben Apartments

As a long-term resident (33 years) I've seen a lot of changes take place. Some were great, others not so. One positive was updating each unit; another was the addition of allowing pets and creating the Bark Park. It's fun to watch the dogs run and play, and all seem to be well behaved. At this time, the residents are friendly, no wild parties that trash the grounds, maintenance is timely, and Keisha (Fairlane agent) is here and available M-F. Fairlane has become a neighborhood community which makes it a great place to live. Like I previously said - I've been here 33 years and have no plans to leave what I consider my home...

I have been a resident here for almost 3 years now. The maintenance/service/repair was very responsive and lightning quick. Since after the property was sold to HD Omaha the maintenance requests took days, almost weeks in some cases to get a response from them. Secondly, I had a break-in in my car from their parking lot few days back (which is being secured by two security cameras) and I reported the incident HD omaha representative asking them to check the footage for few days. I was told that the previous owner had a cox connection which he closed when he sold the property (2 months before) and the security cameras are not working since then. So neither they nor the police will have any footage of the break-in. Great! Update : They recently made an area a dog park in 2020 and you can s

honestly lived here for two years & my apartment was perfect. I loved it, I never had issues and if I did maintenance was on it ASAP. Every single time. I moved into a different unit with ac issues and they replaced the entire unit and kept in touch everyday. idk why the reviews are so bad i’m going on my 3rd lease & i’ve really had no crazy issues.

I have been a resident here for almost four years now. The maintenance and service were good, and the place was very safe and quiet to live back in 2019. Then after that, the HD Omaha was in charge, and the place went down. After that Seldin is in charge and it is still going down. The prices keep increasing rapidly. The gas, water, and sewage charge on the whole building. So it does not matter if did not use it, you will get a bill because your neighbor did. There is no management on site. So have fun with that. They told you there is, but no one is there. The laundry is bad, and they charge you even though the gas and water are billed to your account since it is part of your building. Only giving 1 star to write this because this place sucks. Raquel and shayla will gaslight you and will act so nice and caring. This place does not care about you and will take your money. When we moved in we loved it but that is all show. There are no community amenities by the way. The door are always unlocked and a neighbor stopped us as we were moving out to tell us about a house less person in the hallway being aggressive. You will be charged utilities whether you use them or are there. The apartment was incredibly dirty when we moved in and there was furniture in the garage we got that they expected us to move when we moved out. Save yourself from living here.
