Faircloth Model Home at The Palms

Disappointed in the quality of homes Faircloth builds. Their site states that they’re proud to build high quality homes that will last for years, but shortly after my parents moved into their new build, many issues came about. For starters, there’s an issue with the electrical for both guest bathrooms, wood floors are separating and easy to “nick”/ damage, all of the light fixtures were dirty with fingerprints all over them, windows still had writing on them, roof has all sort of debris on it, just to name a few things off hand that I’ve noticed when visiting. As a real estate agent, I’m confused about the quality - how does the owner’s suite and kitchen have granite but the other two bathrooms have Formica countertops? Purchased our home in September of last year and issue after issue we have been having. Their warranty 2-10 is a joke as this is where you are to submit an issue when service is needed. Every time we place a service call with their warranty company they never show up and after weeks and sometimes months waiting it then would say complete but yet no one ever showed up. We will make the best with our house but cannot recommend this builder as the quality and build is mediocre at best.

UPDATE: Builder is refusing to make any fixes and approve the warranty company's requests. What a joke! Don't get mad when after a year your work needs to be fixed because you subcontracted out for the cheapest price. Builder is less than responsive when it comes to following up a year later with the work being improperly completed. The builder and agent are no help at all. We've spent more time fixing what they couldn't do correctly and refused to fix at the time of closing, saying our comment were "aesthetic." Who ever they hire to paint...shouldn't be paint. Can't plumb walls evenly, doors didn't shut correctly, and the plumbing was an issue to where we have a hole in our garage from the leak they didn't feel like fixing. Poor quality builder with a poor reputation. Good luck!

I wish I could give this company 0 stars, we have been waiting for 3+ months for a home that was under new construction, was ensured that the house would be complete. We put our earnest money down and even wired the closing cost to the lawyer. The day of closing was changed and then the day of the new closing they canceled closing yet again. Our realtor found out more on her own research then the so called realtor for them “Alicja” wanted to even tell us. Will not recommend them at all, retracting our offer because we have already lost enough money waiting on a company that doesn’t even care about their buyers. We are a military family and now have to scramble to find a new home to rent because of the market we are unable to purchase. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unreliable

Absolutely terrible workmanship. One of the worst and most stressful experiences I've ever had. Between the roof leaking, electrical issues since day one, sloppy trim work, sloppy paint job, etc,etc.it has been an absolute nightmare. Anyone reading this who is considering using these people should turn around and run
