Evolve Apartments

They just went into my unit, without my consent and destroyed my personal property to add a malfunction from two years ago. Mean while Laura and Rickie refuse to even notice that they have paying tenants who want to speak to managers. They have zero concern for actual residents. Copy and paste response. Section 8 Ricky and Lauren, managers?!, have not even asked us how the Apt is. Lauren has made "you people" statements. We had bugs. They have not asked us for three weeks if things are going well. Fourteen days later we might be finished. West Corp and Evolve management refuse to acknowledge a massive problem happened. Roxanne the "boss" refuses to answer calls or emails. We've been at evolve for 1 month now and I have nothing but great things to say. The apartment is clean modern and spacious. The amenities are great and the office staff: Ricky, Asia, Lorena and Maria are all welcoming, cheerful, accommodating and courteous. If you are looking for an apartment complex with a great vibe, helpful staff, and plenty of amenities, I highly recommend Evolve.

Can not recommend this location to anyone due to management's abysmal handling of an issue I had. They take no accountability and do nothing to make it right, when the issue at hand is completely out of my control. Charged fraudulent fees that they still refuse to reverse a month later. I am currently owed $145 in fraudulent charges plus $15 of external fees I should be compensated for. They're really holding out over $160. Pathetic (non) response to what should have been an easy issue to correct. Manger Ricky was especially unhelpful, wasting my time on the phone with empty explanations and excuses, and still no resolution. Corporate Manager Roxanne never returned my phone call in two weeks. The actual units looked nice but upon careful inspection you can tell everything is very cheaply done.You will end up with lots of broken things and losing your deposit. I walked around inside this place myself and I felt like I was in the bad parts of LA.The quality of the people who live here is concerning. This is a low income housing type place dressed up to look high end. There were about 6 older kids in the front jacuzzi and the parents were just hanging out being super loud. I felt like I was at a twerking contest in the hood.The sauna and steam room looked nice also the small gym. The location used to be really nice till they overcrowded the area with apartments. I’ve seen some of the negative reviews on here, and honestly, many of the complaints surprised me. I can only share my own experience, but I didn’t encounter the issues I’ve read about. I needed a short-term rental while my house was being remodeled, and Evolve was one of the few places nearby that offered 3-month leases. That flexibility alone was a lifesaver, and the location was perfect since I could easily drive to check on the progress at my house every day. Staff: I mostly worked with Lorena and Ricky, and they were both fantastic. They made the move-in process simple and stress-free, and they were always kind and approachable.
