I go to just about every sale they host. Scott, Raven and their entire crew are more than accommodating. They work with you and will even bring in the owner to assure that everyone is content with the sale. The guys are always more than willing to load your items for you. As some one who goes to a lot of different sales, encounters are the most accommodating and have the manpower needed to move big items and heavy furniture. I highly recommend them and love the fact that the money goes to help people that really need it.

I have attended many Encounter Estate Sales and supported his ministry through the retail store before they began doing estate sales. Scott , Raven and the crew have always conducted themselves with the utmost regard for the mission at hand. "My experience with Scott was nothing short of a nightmare. Dealing with him just weeks after losing my mother unexpectedly to stage 4 cancer (we had 7 days notice after her diagnosis) was traumatic enough. Encounter was supposed to help manage the complexities of her belongings, but instead, it added layers of stress and frustration. They engaged in shady dealings and exhibited unethical business practices throughout. Beware of the buyers that swoop in 1/2 hour before your sale is scheduled to end and offer you 10% of the value of furniture. It's a scam and orchestrated beforehand.
