Encore Construction

Working with the Encore team was a pleasure from initial design to finish. The project came in on budget and time. Luke, who was project manager, kept me up to date weekly on the progress and went out of his way to help me since I live in Philadelphia. It was great knowing my property was in such good care and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

I recently had Encore Construction add a 2 car garage and farmers porch to our house on Cape Cod. From the permitting process with the town of Dennis to the final cleanup, working with them was in a word outstanding. Every person I dealt with was responsive, professional and interested. The owner, Kathy DeMeyer, has an excellent team. I was very fortunate to be assigned Jim Mallet as the project manager for my work. Jim really knows the business, is very hard working and fun to work with. Given that the house is a seasonal one for us and a large part of the work was done when we weren’t there, it was great to have Jim who was always on top of things and very responsive. If timely responsiveness means anything stay away from this outfit. I contacted Encore seeking a proposal on a six figure renovation project. I provided an overview of my project and was told I would hear back from them within 24 hours. Impressive right? NOT. They never contacted me even after I emailed the person I spoke with in the office. If they were not interested in the project the courtesy of a call or email telling me that would have been all they needed to do. There are numerous contractors on the cape that I would urge people to try before resorting to using Encore.
