We lived here for over 6 years, originally moving in because the price was decent for the square footage, back in the day. Unfortunately, that was about the peak of the experience. The building was poorly maintained, with original appliances that constantly broke down. Water pressure was awful, and the yellow water situation was something we were expected to live with long-term. One thing is absolutely undeniable though: management really loves their Hotpoint ovens ❤️. The self-cleaning feature was treated less like an appliance setting and more like a core amenity of the apartment. It was clearly expected to be used often, appreciated deeply, and respected accordingly - otherwise, you weren’t getting the full Hotpoint experience. I lived at Whitmore Lake Apartments for seven years, you will not find a better looking apartment than the upper units at this location. Robert, has been the property manager for many years and he does his job well, he’s levelheaded, easy to talk to and takes care of issues in a timely manner. I do agree with the comments that due diligence needs to be addressed for the potholes and the water pressure is somewhat concerning I also know they’re working towards correcting it. If it were not for health issues, I would have never left! Whoever has 204, I know you’re enjoying the hard work I put in to that apartment to make it a beautiful home.

Don’t give this place a thought. The staff and owners do not care about their tenants. The rent is astronomical, not due to anything other than greed. The water pressure has went out several times and is discolored. They have been reported to the Attorney General several times and have been fined. The parking lot is absolutely horrific, and with the amount of greedy rent prices, they could afford to repave it 50 times over, but they refuse to do so. Go pay astronomical amounts at another apartment that takes care of their tenants.

THE PARKING LOT NEEDS TO BE REPAVED. The entire asphalt from the entrance to the back apartments is nothing but potholes. It makes it extremely dangerous to drive in. Also if you try to avoid them, you risk hitting the parked cars or pedestrians. I do not live here. I visited someone who does. The apartment itself was lovely.

My husband and I lived here about 4 years and LOVED it! The neighbors are decent and fairly friendly and respectful. There are even mixes of young families/couples and elderly individuals. It's a relatively quiet community overall, perfect for someone who works 2nd or 3rd shifts. The manager is accommodating, flexible, and responsive as is maintenance. We have had a few maintenance issues and they've always come fixed them within 1-2 days including weekends. As long as, you pay your rent on time and are respectful of the property and tenants, you will thrive here!
