It took lots of follow-up from us, as the customers, to get things done during the build of our new home. We were contracted to have our home complete in November 2019 (no later than December 31, 2019), but we didn’t actually close on our home until May 2020. The builder stopped responding to our Realtors, so all of the communication had to be done through us. Even the simple punch list items that should’ve been done before closing still have yet to be done (missing trim, paint on hard floors, hinges with messy paint on them, missing door stops). We were told new bi-fold closet doors for 3 bedrooms were on order but delayed (door handles were installed in the wrong place, so they wouldn’t open correctly).
