Emmons Place

when i moved into this complex i was a bit nervous moving to a new city after graduating college recently. the apartment manager tim flannery made this transition so smooth for me and relived all my concerns, i’ve never lived in anywhere before where i have had so much support! all the other apartments i’ve been in management has been flakey, detached, and unreliable, but tim makes sure every single tenant has their needs taken care of. he has put in efforts to help one tenant with dementia find housing with in-care services to support her better ON HIS OWN TIME off the clock. he really cares about people and it shows. the apartment itself is nice, but without tim’s management it wouldn’t be as comfortable of a place to live solely because i know i have a safe space created by him!

The studio apartments are kind of small but the staff is generally pretty nice.... Edit: my mother lives there. Recently she bought a gift for my new apartment.. it was stolen by a resident and actually retrieved by a staff member who was just coming on duty, she was nice about everything.

tim && the crew put in soo much time n effort 2 make this place a home. they go above n beyond for me n my neighbors. emmons has its flaws as does everywhere else but the team works overtime 2 make it better.

Love the newly decorated look. Very light and high ceilings, all nice appliances. It is small but, after looking at other efficiencies in Portland, the rent is small also. Outside is attractive. I like the security of the building. 2 laundries in building-3rd and 5th floors. Recycling and garbage chutes on every floor-love it. I never have a problem finding problem, usually in front of the building. I think the neighborhood is great for walking my dog, beautiful buildings and many boutique businesses. Lots of emotional support animals, which I like. Tenants tend to be older, like me at 65+, or younger, 20-30, which makes sense because the apartments are not designed for families. 95% of neighbors are very pleasant and sociable. Sis, New management has come aboard, there are always someone there to serve your needs. I lost my keys same day. I got a new set of a fob, key to enter my apartment and my mail key. Good job Emmons place.!!!!
