They do not do good maintence. Took weeks for them to go out and repair. Don’t return call, don’t answer calls, When we deducted from rent due to inconvenience , food spoilage, now they are trying to cause an issue. Beware renting from them as they are just another typical slumlord property management company.

Update: If they weren't so terribly inconsiderate and unprofessional it would be absolutely comical working with this place. Old nosy neighbors moved out (yay!). Today maintenence shows up to start sawing, cutting, hammering etc on the other side of the still super thin (as yet never improved) walls. It's duly noted I WFH but when I spoke to Claudia just now she says it's not their policy to notify neighbors in a Duplex (ie shared walls) when noisy maintenence is happening that can be disruptive. It doesn't take much to be considerate especially when they know the walls are thin as paper. But customer service isn't their strong suit based on my experience. If I could give them a 0 I would. I had an appointment for 4:30 pm, the address was for an apartment. I arrived and the office was closed. They told me to wait until 4:45 pm and no one came. I waited until 5:00 pm. They called me back to say someone was coming. Then I called to cancel the appointment. The woman who answered was rude, terrible, and a bad experience. Without knowing them, you can't play with people's time.

If you are a renter, beware! Extremely unprofessional service, unlawfully imposing fees to minimize the security deposit returned to renters. They charged me for pre-existing damages and things that were not included in the lease agreement. When I informed Emerald Homes about vacating the townhouse I was renting, they sent me an extensive move-out list of what needed to be done. Professional carpet cleaning accompanied by receipt was one of the things they all of a sudden required me to do. However, it was NEVER mentioned anywhere when I was signing the lease. I followed up multiple times, requesting a copy of such an agreement between them and me. They never responded, but once I moved out, they had the audacity to charge me a professional carpet cleaning fee, to which I never agreed! I l
