Elán Sevilla Apartments

I’ve lived in this complex for over two years, paying $3,500 a month for a 2-bedroom unit. Paying rent each month on time at that!!! My experience here has been deeply disappointing and, frankly, feels like a scam. When it came time for me to move out, I specifically requested a walk-through, which was never scheduled or completed. Now, just days after moving, I receive an invoice claiming I owe over $1,000 for carpet replacement and other add-ons. I was previously told that carpet gets replaced periodically anyway — so how is this being blamed on me? The carpet was clean and in good condition when I left, and the apartment was thoroughly wiped down cleaned. This feels like a money grab. Beautiful community. Staff is very nice. The office is so sweet and they have a beautiful clubhouse if you ever need it. There is a gym and business center. The pool is super cute and clean. The few times I've needed maintence, they are so polite and quick to address anything. You would never know you are near any main roads. Elan Sevilla is 100% the most quiet and serene apartment community I've ever lived in! Maintenance is so kind and dependable. They even remember names and waive every time I see them. I used to live down the road about 3 minutes at a place ran by a different apartment company (Essex) and it was like a war zone over there. I went in looking for a ground floor apartment and specifically made that point clear. Michelle who was the nice young lady that helped me said they had one available the date that I needed to move in. Completed my application and got a call in the morning from the manager stating they had rented the apartment already and tried to get me to rent on the 2nd or 3rd floor. I’ve been living in this apartment complex for over a while now, and I have to say, the parking situation is absolutely terrible. It’s a first-come, first-served setup, which sounds fine in theory, but in practice, it’s a nightmare. There are simply not enough spaces for the number of vehicles we have here, and it feels like a constant game of musical chairs. To make matters worse, the management seems to use towing as a money grab. I’ve seen multiple residents get towed for minor infractions, often when there’s no other available parking. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with the added stress of worrying about whether or not I’ll find a spot when I come home. Love Love love the new manager she is sincere and has heart for people very professional and customer service is a great! Maintenance is also awesome quick fast in and out and cleans up after their work. The staff always follows up after a work order. People that complain will never be happy especially when they’re the cause of their own problems just looking for someone to blame! I would have stayed but got a job offer in Texas.
