Elms Fells Point

We have lived at the elms for about 8 months now. The location is great, the apartment is nice, but I am leaving this review in hopes of some resolution. Our neighbors unit caught on fire. The hallway flooded. We are glad everyone is okay. However, we have been living in a construction zone for months. Upon reaching out to the office it takes them not weeks… but months to respond. Not only were our lives at risk, so was our pets’. We were even told “atleast you weren’t displaced” as if that is something we should have to worry about paying nearly $3k a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. We have been offered no concession, or even information from property management. They just forward our email to maintenance without answering any questions. UPDATE: see attached photos. The Elms at Fells Point is a great property. I’ve lived here for a couple of years. The building is consistently clean, with responsive maintenance staff, highly courteous concierge services, and accessible amenity areas (including one of the best gyms that I have come across in this area). The apartments are spacious, and the walls are thick (I rarely hear any of my neighbors). Moreover, the professionalism, tenant engagement, and customer service of the property staff are top-notch! Seriously. I have had great experiences with all of the staff here during my time at the Elms. Wynter, Adrienne, Lakendra, Tony, Frank, Dave (to name a few), and others regularly go the extra mile to respond to requests while maintaining an engaging environment! Overall, this has been a great place to live!

After living in this building for just under 3 years and joining the community when the building was at 12% occupancy we watched the Elms turn into the building that it is today. I’d like to say Lakendra and Adrienne in leasing are clearly trying their very best with what they have and Wynter does not make their job any easier or keep rapport with tenants any friendlier - these are people’s homes. I would liken living in this building as a tenant with the relationship to management (as good tenants without faults) to that of living in a dorm in college with resident advisors. Leasing will, and does, contact you about any and all issues - no matter how small, with threat of fines. Having lived in other buildings and now having moved, this is not normal. I lived in a three-bedroom, two-bath corner unit, and I really enjoyed it! The layout was great because I didn’t share many walls and had no one above me. The insulation was pretty solid—I hardly heard my neighbors, except for the new ones below me who liked to blast music every now and then. It wasn’t a huge deal, so I never bothered to complain. Plus there were lots of windows with a nice view of the city, which I loved. Overall, my experience at Elms was really good. The staff was friendly and always quick to respond whenever I needed something. I would definitely recommend Elms Fells Point, especially if they have any specials going on!

We really enjoy living at the Elms! The community is safe, clean and well maintained. The management team goes above and beyond taking care of residents. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally which makes a huge difference. The amenities are a big plus (gym, pool, common areas) just to name a few. We would definitely recommend the Elms to anyone looking for a great place to live!
