Ellis Apartments

I’ve really enjoyed my time living in Ellis apartments. For studio, my living space is roomy and doesn’t feel cramped, the view from the roof is gorgeous, and overall it’s very quiet. Property managers have also been friendly and helpful with any and all issues I’ve encountered The only drawbacks are the lack of parking and the general risks involved with street parking in Tacoma, and that some maintenance issues take a long time to resolve if they’re not a quick fix. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend someone make their home here.

Hey, I'm Elyshau. I absolutely love it here so much. I used to live here from 2022-2023, and loved it so much that upon returning from Germany, I managed to not just be able to become a tenant again, but I got the exact same room as well. The management team is professional, and fast to respond back to. They do a great job of daily cleanliness around the facility. And I also love that they show updates on the boards and elevators to show things that are happening within Tacoma. The AC works amazingly well in my room, and I love the view from my apartment. My unit has a special place in my heart, cause I was the first one to move into it, and I'm really glad to had been able to move back into it coincidentally after the previous tenant had moved out.

After living here for 13 great months, I'll give my updated review. It's a great spot for UWT students, urbanists, and people who like the downtown scene. I've enjoyed the easy access to so many great spots to go for a drink or bite to eat. The brewery district being just a block or so away is a real highlight. It's a finely walkable area, most days I would enjoy walking to work with the nicely redone Fawcett Ave or taking the light rail downtown. The units are very easy to maintain, and have very low utility cost with the heat pump. The in-unit W/D made laundry a breeze. A bit cramped on the kitchen side of things, but I am no chef anyways. Parking is mostly street parking, which is less than ideal. The rooftop offers a great view of Mt Rainier. Plenty of good transit nearby, especially

Ellis is one of the affordable apartments around the area with a well maintained upkeep. You can get all the appliances you need in your unit such as, air conditioning and washer/dryer which is not typical in the surrounding area. Common rooms, amenities and rooftop are also accessible 24/7 which makes exploring the community not limited to your unit only! Management is great and it reflects on the property itself. The community itself has a variety of young professionals, students & families. We also have a variety of resident events, from pizza parties, free dinners & holiday events! In a perfect world, Ellis would have no other issues. However, given the location, we only got street parking offered. I have seen security patrols as a safety feature provided but it does not guarantee

I got one of the most incredible professional Guidance through my application. Michel is an awesome human being, really know her job she explained to me everything I needed through the application. —- Even though my application was denied, I didn’t get approved. I still recommend this place just because of how professional and easy going management they were. along with a quick responses. —- Overall, it was a good experience! I wasn’t lucky but this place is worth it. CHECK THEM OUT!
