Hi I stopped into Edwards Realty 2 months ago and am just getting around to posting my Thank You to Phil and his assistant. I honestly had a limited time to purchase a property and I walked in their office while driving down N. Atlantic Ave. I told Phil my budget and what I was looking for and performed search for me right then. He was in the middle of other things and he still took me seriously and printed properties and joyfully he and his assistant explained where the properties were and even more about the area. There were 3 or four in my search and I was able to drive by them all. In the years here I've formed a close & trusting bond with the entire Edwards team & family. The office is run by multiple generations dedicated to keeping an elevated standard for tenants & visitors to Cocoa Beach. I am a recently retired Veteran who owns a home up north and decided to move to the Space Coast. I used a Realtor to find a nice rental while I search for a home to buy and we found a condo managed by Edwards Realty. My experience with them has been very disturbing. The issues began after I was approved and was told I would have to pay a $100 cleaning fee--a fee that was not disclosed in the MLS listing. Phil was the agent with Edwards Realty and his response was that it usually costs them over $1000 to clean a unit and the fee was required. In addition, there was an error in the security deposit which was listed in the MLS at $100 cheaper so in the end, I was charged an extra $200.
