Dutton Estates Apartments

There is a male resident at this complex that sits concealed in the bushes along the tree line that faces many windows. He has disclosed that he has taken photos and/or videos into my home. When I have contacted the complex about this concern, I was told this behavior was allowed at this complex. Not to mention this place is gross to say the least. You will find garbage, cigarettes, human hair, and tons of dog poop around this property. When I’ve brought these issues up I get told they will be handled only to find that the items remain where they are until a resident take it upon themselves to clean it up as I have had to do many times. If you want a clean and safe place, I’d recommend somewhere else.

Update: found dog poop on the sidewalk enters de to our building this morning. Living here has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had as a renter. For months, we’ve been dealing with cigarette butts, ash, and even food being regularly dropped from the balcony above onto our patio. It’s happened so often that we had no choice but to remove all of our patio furniture since it was constantly being soiled with debris. We’ve reported this issue multiple times. We’ve provided photo evidence. We’ve followed up respectfully, again and again. And yet… nothing has changed. My husband and I moved in the end of January 2021 to down size in our retirement. We find the apartment size just right for our needs. We have a first floor unit where we enjoy people watching and sitting on our porch.

Great place to live apartments are like new or new and very clean. Jane is awesome she takes great care of her tenants. Todd Maintainance dude is cool. He is very polite and respectful when making repairs or just giving you information about your new home. Did I mention Jane was great!

Rent is too high for just one person , even in Utah I paid less on a month to month lease for the same size living area. Cost of living here is supposed to be less than Utah, not more, it’s not nearly as desirable of a location as Salt Lake City is (it’s not close to any major recreational sites) so definitely sounds like they are charging more just to charge more. The lease claims to say that smoking marijuana is prohibited but all my neighbors are smoking it. I smell it in the hallways all the time. I can’t open my window without marijuana smell coming in. Why claim to be a no marijuana smoking apartment complex when you can’t enforce the rule? All they can do is leave letters on everyone’s doors about that rule but it keeps happening.
