Durant at Sugarloaf Apartment Homes

The area is kept clean and the facilities are accessible. They take prompt initiative to fix a problem reported, that was the best part! The view of the lake in front of my building is fenomenal!

Being no my way to become a resident,I already feel like home according to the happy welcome of Mrs Sheila and Mrs the manager Tina. Hopefully we will be enjoying every minute, every moment that me and my beautiful wife Deborrah will have as the Durant residents. Tina and Sheila are amazing people that I never ever met in all the communities that I have live before. They are very welcoming people and the management must keep them around for long.

For the amount of money I pay to live here, this apartment complex could do much better. The walkway lighting needs to be replaced—it’s dim or lights need to be replaced, and doesn’t feel safe at night. The hallways are dirty with skid marks and stains, and they haven’t been pressure cleaned in a long time. The stairwells are nasty and not well-kept. On top of that, the trash compactor is constantly broken and overflowing, leaving trash piled up. Overall, the upkeep and maintenance do not reflect the price we’re paying to live here. The pictures attached is different WEEKS of trash being piled up. SHAME ON THEM!!!

I really wish I could give 5 starts because I overall enjoy living in my apartment. I’ve been a resident for almost a month and the application process was smooth, and Greg was amazing throughout the process! The neighborhood is beautiful, the leasing office staff (Tina, Greg, and Sheila) are always friendly, and the community is clean and well-kept. That being said, I do feel there’s room for improvement in the move-in process. When I moved in, there were several essential and urgent things that needed to be fixed, and it took about three weeks for everything to be resolved. While I truly appreciate the maintenance team and their hard work, I think communication and urgency could be improved so that residents feel their concerns are treated as important and are addressed in a timely man

I lived on this property for 2yrs in building 6#. A group of elementary school kids would come to building 6 every other day bullying another boy. Hanging out and loitering waiting for him to come out. Cops were called and management was notified about this. In the mist of the harassment they would loiter and lean and sit on my car. I asked them several times to get off my car. Which did nothing due to there parents not attending to them. There is a nice man made lake with geese. I have witnessed this same group of kids take the geese eggs and brake them. Again, police have been called and management notified...nothing was done and management acts if they could care less. This was a major reasoning of me moving. I had a 2 bedroom and paid a average of 1950 a month and had to deal with kids
