Dupont Towers Apartments

Trash management needs to be stepped up. Too many times the trash is backed up. Snow removal is adequate but on freezing days black ice builds up and I had 2 falls in the parking lot. Would like in home laundry, I’ve lost about 8 single Sox. Would like a senior discount on rent. The pool is a nice commodity in the summer. Hot water is regulated, too many cool showers in the winter, boiler not large enough to accommodate most residents needs. Good location. Enjoy the gated parking lot.

I lived in this building for two years and, overall, had a positive experience. Within the first month, a pipe in the 3rd floor broke and caused significant water damage in our unit (photos attached). We had to stay in a hotel overnight, and although the cost was eventually deducted from our rent, it took three months, which was frustrating. During ceiling repairs, we were not offered an alternative unit and had to live in only two bedrooms while continuing to pay full rent, alongside the constant noise from industrial dehumidifiers and fans for two months. Although the living room carpet was eventually replaced, it required persistent follow-up with management. That said, the building itself is clean, free of unpleasant odors, and well-maintained. Ms. Danita made my move from out of state a very welcoming & warm experience due to her extremely kind and patient personality. She went over and above being both efficient and professional! It has been a pleasure to work with the entire staff at DuPont Towers and would highly recommend this complex to others.

Updating my review, as management reached out about the AC issues and is working diligently to fix them. The location is good, the rent is super, and management cares about the residents. It's safe and there is plenty of parking. And there is a large, nice pool, that is great in the summer, and grills that are accessible during pool season. You should know that you don't control when the AC is turned on and off, so you may have some warm weeks in September or even October and in early spring. Other than that one issue, it's a very good building and I would recommend living here.

I have lived in several units in Dupont Towers for the past 13 years. The building is well-run. When repairs are needed, the management has been responsive to my requests. I enjoy the tenants in the building. The only reason I have given a four rating instead of a five is because, as a 60 year old building, it has faced some major repairs. To its credit, the Galman Group is making these repairs.
