Dumont Brothers Building Contractor

Long, long story short; they use a "Time and Materials" contract which pretty much gives them carte blanche to pad their billing anyway they want. My final bill from them last year was 40% higher than the original estimate and we didn't make any changes to the job. They have a few good craftsmen that don't screw around but just as many who don't know what they're doing. Such is the issue here in South Carolina. (So much more I could say at this time but I won't)

I worked with Adham and he was able to work around my schedule for the painters to come in and paint the entire house. They were respectful and treated my furniture as if it was theirs. Extremely satisfied!!!!! Laura

Had them come out for an estimate. Guys name was Ted. 5 weeks later I had not heard from them. Called many times. Finally got Ted’s personal number and he said he lost the paperwork on his desk, but still had it. 3 months later, I still haven’t heard back from them. Big waste of my time !!! I had used them before and liked the service, but this guy is a joke.

They should be the DO-NOT brothers , DO-NOT use for anything. We're hired for Vinyl sidiing and Windows. I had to have the County Shut them Down for working WITHOUT a permit on my house. Then they Failed Inspection for the windows and Refused to corrrect the issue. The windows were ordered grossly too small and had a Massive amount of hacked together build up so they would fit . We are talking 4" gap on the vertical and 3" on the Horizontal. There contracts are horrible way to Vague, I rewrote mine.. I WOULD AVOID LIKE THEM LIKE A PSYCHO EX THE AN STD

I am going to be revising this review with photographs possibly next week. They are all such nice people, I'd like to repost my 5 stars; yet, I'm waiting to see. John is coming back to fix a problem, and I really appreciate that.
