Carly has been a truly outstanding landlord for the past three years. Each maintenance request was handled quickly, professionally, and with real expertise. Both move‑in and move‑out were effortless (my wife and I kept saying Carly is the best landlord either of us has ever had.) She’s always reachable, unfailingly friendly, and since she lives downtown herself, genuinely invested in the neighborhood. It’s a true family‑run operation, and I cannot recommend Downtown Portland Properties more highly.

Carly is responsive when things around the apartment break/need to be addressed. She replies to messages quickly and is very understanding and helpful! She’s been eager to update locks, toilets, curtains etc. throughout our building which has been great. I’ve rented from her for two years and plan to continue!

All Downtown Portland Properties are Owner-Managed....very very well! I have leased property almost 10 years from Downtown Portland Properties. The properties are all historic, very well-maintained and cared for. On the rare occasion where something needs to be addressed, Carly handles it professionally, efficiently, and quickly. The best leasing experience. Very human! This is not a corporate, foreign-owned real estate investment trust. These properties are woman-owned and managed.
