Dove Landing Apartments

I do not recommend any move. Anybody moving here. Upon moving my tub was painted with house paint. I had a slip and fall. There was constant issues with spiders and bugs. The owner threatened me and stated that if I didn't snitch on anybody on the property that he would call in a call to his buddies at the police station and make it very hard for me to reside comfortably in Virginia Beach. Donnie Todd also stated that he'd give me a discount off my rent if I would tell on anybody that was doing anything illegal. I told him that's not fair because you'll put me and my child in Jeopardy. There was a lot of chaos in the hallway. People smoking from another building. People walking by my ring camera stealing packages. If I could give this place a negative star review on 1 thousand I would. This place is so awful. I moved out in June received a 165 dollar charge taken out of deposit. 15 for move out and 145 for cleaning. We had cleaned the apartment top to bottom. So I wouldn't waste your time cleaning cause they will charge you regardless. Also as far as the rest of my deposit it was mailed to the apartment that I rented from them not the forwarding address they asked for when I moved. So if you were supposed to receive a deposit they are se ding them to the apartment you were in. The current tenant brought it to them when I called last week but was told a whole new check has to be sent now.

I've been on this property for about a year. Very clean. Property maintenance does a great job keeping it clean and they are quick on fixing repairs The ladies in the office are very willing and nice and are always there for you. They're willing to work with you in any way they can I recommend Dove lanning as a property to view and live on. They have a fenced-in pool lifeguards. They have a doggie Park for the doggie poop overall five star

My husband and I are just moving to this area and after reaching out to multiple companies, we decided to tour a unit here. We had no trouble setting up a date and time that worked for us. When we arrived, we were greeted by Summer and she showed us around the property. We were very impressed by the unit and the pool. She was also able to answer all of our questions about local businesses and schools in the area for our growing family. Thank you for making this process so easy and smooth for us!!

The laundry room has not worked for a year and whenever they “fix” it, it ends up flooding my apartment and destroying all my stuff! The management doesn’t do anything, they cut open the wall in the laundry room which borders my apartment and left it like that, the maintenance person I asked said they didn’t even know who did it or why! Have been putting up with paying so much for so little they can’t even fix the doors (that are supposed to be locked and only opened with a fob) and kids and homeless people continue to come in and trash everything! No they are paying people to leave 5 star reviews! I can’t with this place!
