Doral West Apartment Homes

I’ve lived in Doral West, Doral with for more than six years and it has honestly been a really bad experience. Every time something breaks we report it and go to the office over and over, and they take forever to fix anything or never follow up. The office staff never has answers and they never tell you when things will actually get repaired. The complex is always messy, there’s trash around, parking is a constant problem, and people’s cars even get towed by mistake. The gate is almost always left open and it doesn’t feel secure at all. Since the new management took over, everything has gotten worse, not better. This is our last year living here and I truly would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I was given an appointment at 10am 12/27/2025 And I was there on time and waited until 11am. The person at the time, that lady lacks professionalism and her "assertive"speaking is more of an aggressive and condescending tone. Just because you have an emergency, you cannot tell a potential resident to stay in the car in such a bad way. Telling me that they open at 11am as if I was the one that had the wrong time on the tour, your app provided me the time not the other way around. She kept showing me the time on the door and aggressively talking to me as if I am wrong. You cannot have someone that does not have the ability to handle an emergency, show up on a customer so aggressive and condescending. I lived in this community for 13 years, and when it was time to renew my lease the new management company opted to increase my rent by almost 50% without an option to negotiate. But here is one interesting thing, two months prior to vacate, I met with Fabiola, (the assistant manager) who assured me that it would not be more than a 10 to 14% increase, but when the new manager took over, things changed and that small increase that we have talked about was no longer valid. I have never dealt with so much incompetence and lack of professionalism. Whoever writes positive feedback about this company, is either returning a favor or somehow related to those people. Things are falling apart, we put in the orders to have these maintenance request completed and they never do. We later decide to go down to the office to remind them to complete the maintenance request and nothing ever happens. There’s always trash everywhere and ducks eat and rip up the trash bags, so it looks like a huge garbage dump.

I can’t begin to explain just how horrible it is living here. I hate to take my time to write something so foul but something needs to be done about this place. Over the weekend my husband‘s car was crashed while parked in front of our house. Somebody obviously must’ve been drinking and driving and crashed into his car to the point that the car cannot be driven. We had to have it towed away and the mechanic is trying to see if there is any hope. We went to the office, and they are taking no initiative to make things better, on the contrary, they said they can’t do anything. When my husband told her about the financial burden, she simply said the insurance would take care of it. There was no sentiment of grief, or any kind of sincere response as to the damages caused upon us. My car was als
