I rented equipment from this company for over four years and paid two security deposits in case I ever ended the contract early — which I never did. When I returned the unit, I accidentally left behind a ring I had purchased. I received a call from Tom asking if I wanted the ring replaced with the original for a charge of $75. I agreed. However, when it came time to return my security deposits, they charged me for the ring replacement and also deducted $2,490 from my deposit, claiming the unit was “not returned intact.” This makes no sense, as the ring issue was already resolved for $75. I believe this is dishonest and deceptive business behavior. Keeping nearly $2,500 over a resolved $75 issue is unfair and feels like theft. Cindy Lou Lapp has been my realtor since January. Not only has she bent over backwards for me and my fiancé, she is very professional, friendly and beyond helpful. I bought a house handled as an estate by DLP Realty. DLP would not let me come in and clean the house two or even one day earlier without 5 conditions that made it impossible. All while the house was empty and they knew the person who lived in it was a hoarder and therefore the house was filthy. DLP also disposed of some of the furniture from the estate right on the property, hidden from plain sight. It is a disgrace and disrespectful to the previous owner. I wouldn't work with them ever again and would not recommend them to anyone.
